Working with individuals in the community and in our Crisis Stabilization Units we strive to assist those we serve improve their lives and achieve the level of independence they desire. The Wellspring Crisis Stabilization Centers (CSU) serve up to 16 men or women who are in an acute psychiatric crisis. Clients are treated in a community-based setting. The average length of stay is eight days. Referrals come from community providers and hospitals. 

The Assistant Program Coordinator (APC) provides daily support to clients with severe and persistent mental illness, providing support to clients with daily activities and manages the household operations under the supervision of the Program Coordinator.

Duties include, but are not limited to: case management, supervision of clients' self-administered medications (SSAM), modeling and assisting with independent living skills, crisis intervention, facilitates new resident orientation, coordinates and transports clients to outside appointments, assists clients in attaining treatment plan goals, facilitates client social interaction, assists Program Coordinator with maintaining and acquiring equipment as necessary, assists Program Coordinator with ensuring unit has proper supplies, assists Program Coordinator with recruiting an dhiring new staff, provides on-going superivision for Program Assistant, Psychiatric Rehab Specialist, and Peer Support Staff, assists Porgram Coordinator in completing staffing schedule, assists Program Coordinator with monitoring of petty cash and balancing reporting, assists Program Coordinator with budgeting and shopping for food, supplies, equipments, and program needs. 

A personal vehicle is required as the APC will be responsible for transporting clients to appointments. 

Excellent computer, electronic medical record, written and verbal communication skills are essential in this position. The ability to attend to details of a broad spectrum of responsibilities and work autonomously is also key.

Education Requirements (Any)
BA or BS
experience working with adults with SMI preferred
