Work Services Program Manager

Location: New Albany, IN
Department: Industrial Services
Status: Full-Time, Non-Exempt
Hours: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM

About the Role

The Work Services Program Manager oversees vocational and work-life services for individuals with disabilities who participate in Rauch Industries programs. This role ensures high-quality, safe, and compliant services while supporting people in achieving their employment and life goals.


Key Responsibilities

Individual Plans & Services

  • Develop, manage, and monitor Individual Plans (IPs) for program participants
  • Conduct intakes, plan meetings, and regular progress reviews
  • Ensure services support community integration and employment goals
  • Maintain accurate documentation and consumer records

Team Coordination

  • Lead service team meetings and coordinate services across departments
  • Ensure staff follow consistent service strategies and documentation standards
  • Provide health, behavioral, and support guidance to staff

Consumer & Family Support

  • Act as a liaison between consumers, families, residential providers, and funders
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with community resources
  • Ensure referral and reporting requirements are met

Direct Support

  • Provide hands-on support including coaching, behavior support, job training, crisis intervention, and skill development

Program Quality & Compliance

  • Monitor outcomes, satisfaction, and program effectiveness
  • Ensure compliance with CARF, BQIS, and BDDS regulations

Staff Leadership

  • Hire, train, supervise, and evaluate Work Services staff
  • Support staff development and performance improvement

Operations & Safety

  • Support agency planning and program operations
  • Enforce safety policies and promote a safe work environment


Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent education and experience
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle with Indiana required insurance
  • Ability to transport individuals
  • Strong communication, organization, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively with people with disabilities

Education Requirements (All)
High School diploma or GED equivalent with one year experience in industry of facility setting preferred. One year (+) college in related area would
Bachelor's Degree with experience preferred OR equivalent education /experience
