Rauch's Children's Services and FNC Day Program Departments are seeking an Administrative Assistant to perform and manage the day-to-day clerical and administrative functions at the Fairmont Neighborhood Center located in New Albany, IN.   

   

Areas of responsibility include:  

1. Providing reception, clerical and fiscal support.  

  • Creating reports, forms, and newsletters.
  • Maintaining office supplies.
  • Preparing billing statement and tracking billing.
  • Keeping records of petty cash and tracking requisitions.
  • Reviewing and submitting billing for the First Steps program.

2. Maintaining several records and filing systems.  

  • Keeping Medicaid records.
  • Transferring data to electronic spreadsheets.
  • Overseeing maintenance of databases.
  • Developing and filing of employee records.
  • Maintaining files of individuals served.
  • Ensuring all paperwork is filed promptly and correctly.

The Administrative Assistant must have excellent organizational skills and must be effective in written, verbal, and electronic communication. They will utilize word processing and spreadsheets and must have a familiarity of Microsoft Office applications. This role will interact with building visitors and will assist and direct visitors in a timely, courteous, and friendly manner.  

   

Requirements:  

High School Diploma or equivalent  

A minimum of two years of office experience  

Reliable transportation (must hold a valid driver's license).  

   

Schedule:  

Monday-Friday, 8am-4:30pm., 40 hours/week
